Stanford women reach NCAA soccer final

Christen Press scored in sudden-death overtime to lift the Stanford women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over Pac-10 opponent UCLA at the national semifinals of the NCAA tournament on Friday night in College Station, Texas.

Great game and I could not be happier for the Cardinal. That being said, weird and sometimes bad things happen when Kira Maker has to stop high balls. I have seen two goals this year including today that seemed to have simply gone through her hands. Should be just fine on Sunday though. Fingers crossed.
