Gunn boys can't quite overcome a tragic week in water polo

This has been a week unlike any other for the Gunn boys' water polo team. The Titans lost a former player, junior Will Dickens, to an apparent suicide on Monday night and canceled their game with Los Gatos on Tuesday.

I saw that game and Gunn won. This game went to Los Altos because the referees not only did not know what they were doing, but they called several key plays wrong and called them against Gunn. It is a chronic problem in this area that many referees have favorite teams and make it very obvious during games. This was a classic.
