Recreational Tennis?

Original post made by Tennis? on Oct 19, 2009

I'm new in town and have been wanting to take some tennis lessons and perhaps join some group where I can play some recreational, casual tennis. I'm a beginner and mainly want to do this for the exercise and the recreational and social aspect. Eventually, I'll probably want to get my small kids playing too. I see a few options near me--Eichler Swim & Tennis, Winter Lodge, and the public courts and lessons through the city. Does anyone have any recommendations about what would be a good option for me? Thanks!
