All high-speed rail options still on the table for Palo Alto

When the high-speed rail line comes through Palo Alto at speeds of 125 mph, the trains could run at-grade, completely underground or on elevated tracks, California High-Speed Rail Authority officials announced Wednesday evening.

HSR staff knew before the election that they'd likely have to build a 20 foot wall down the center of PA, Menlo Park, etc. Is the public so dumb that they will believe these people.

Burn me once shame on you. Burn me twice shame on me.

They can't afford to tunnel. They will need to build 20 foot walls and remove homes and parts of properties adjacent to the track.

Promoters are delaying in hopes that the momentum for the project will overwhelm the coming protests.

Opponents need to organize and organize soon.
