If people tire of discussing this topic after the first seven hours or so Saturday, they can jump on the Caltrain at 4:17 or 5:17 southbound to California Avenue and walk a few short blocks to 420 Pepper, Smith Andersen Gallery, 650.305.0701 to a one-day art, 4 to 6 p.m. event called "Art and Democracy on Pepper." It will feature live music and art by a dozen artists such as Joey Piziali and Robert Syrett. There will be brief addresses by council candidates Gail Price, Tim Gray and Mark Weiss. Then people can hop back on Caltrain Northbound at 6:27 to retrieve their cars or what have you. Kudos to Brian Steen, Pat Burt and Yoriko for organizing the HSR design workshop.

Don't miss out on the discussion!

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
