Rea's patience pays off in 14s Ruth title

Chris Rea went from not playing to earning the game ball in three easy steps during the Babe Ruth District 6 14-year old all-star tournament at McKelvey Park in Mountain View last week. Rea had two doubles and scored three runs as Palo Alto defeated host Mountain View, 11-5, in Saturday's championship game.

Colin, it was nice to meet you at the game on Saturday. Great article, and it was good to see Chris get recognition for his terrific game.

Hope to see you in Woodland! :)

Congratulations to all the Palo Alto Babe Ruth teams for winning all the District 6 titles. Great job, guys!
