Menlo Park police arrest auto-burglary suspect

Menlo Park police arrested a man found hiding in the bushes near a reported auto burglary and matching a description of the suspect.

Hooray for the resident who reported this in a timely manner and called police! Kudos also for noting the description so that it could be used for apprehension and identification!

If everyone in the Willows had such a cool head and were willing to risk the epithet of "racist" in reporting a possible crime, we would have less crime. I would love to acknowledge the person publicly, but so far the person remains unidentified.

In any case, thank you.
