new Facebook building is bad for Palo Alto businesses?

Original post made by Donald, Stanford, on Jul 1, 2009

Story in the Mercury-News: Web Link

With their old downtown location, employees would flood the local restaurants and businesses at lunch time. The new building is too far from local businesses for a lunch time walk, so no one is going out for lunch anymore.

Thati is because FB built a large type resturant in the building. Everything is made fresh that day and I believe that it is free or very low in cost to the employee.
