Close team races looming in CCS swim finals Saturday

It was all about breaking records when the Palo Alto girls' swimming and diving team headed into the 2008 Central Coast Section championships. When it was over, the Vikings had set eight section marks but came away with just a third-place finish in the team race. The Vikings won't produce as many records as they did last season when the 2009 CCS finals are held Saturday at the George F. Haines International Swim Center in Santa Clara. But, they don't have to.
