Evan Kraemer puts on his best impression of Charlie Brown while auditioning for “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” at the Children’s Theatre in Palo Alto on April 1.

Sixty children auditioned for the 27 roles in the musical and had to sing a song and rehearse a scene of their choosing.
