A Banker's Analysis of the Financial Crisis

Original post made by R Wray, Midtown, on Feb 23, 2009

The media is blaming the financial crisis on greedy bankers, capitalism and the lack of government regulation. If anyone is interested in the other side of the story, there is an excellent video lecture by a good banker-John Allison of BB&T.

Wonderful. Great feed. Thanks RW. I have learned that people simply don't want to hear what doesn't fit their template. They like finding "big bad corporate" guys to blame and are unwilling to learn the truth and face their own responsiblities in voting and creating the crisis.

For those who have the integrity to accept reality and start helping to fix this mess, watch the video. If you believe it is "greedy bank" fault, you will learn something.

Or, keep believing what you wish, and continue to be part of the problem.
