The Palo Alto Weekly is looking for extraordinary volunteers

Original post made by Emilie Doolittle, Palo Alto Weekly staff writer, on Feb 9, 2009

The Palo Alto Weekly is planning a cover story featuring some of the unsung volunteers in the community. I’m looking for a volunteer who isn’t afraid to get dirty or deep in the mix of social work. I’m not looking to profile the founder of a nonprofit organization. If you know someone worthy of recognition, please e-mail me at edoolittle@paweekly.com and tell me about him/her.

I suggest you spend some time investigating the utilities department.
