City to honor Lynne Johnson for years of service

Former Palo Alto police chief Lynne Johnson, whose comments Oct. 30 prompted widespread accusations of racial profiling, will be recognized by the City Council tonight for her strong leadership, sound judgment and outstanding public service.

Hey Chief, here's your hat, what's your hurry?

Good luck Chief! I hope the PTSD from the stupidity of the last few months doesn't haunt your dreams for long. Just remember yours was a political position in the end, and when you are forced to play with other politico's it's akin to being thrown into a pit of vipers.

Enjoy retirement or find a City who would love to have someone with your experience and record.

Sorry I didn't see this post sooner. After treating employees so poorly over the years and going after them with your little minions I am very glad to see that what goes around, comes around. Enjoy your forced retirement - you will be lucky to get a job involving any public trust
