Obama Questions McCain's Patriotism

ABC's Jake Tapper reports:Web Link

"Just ask the machinists in Pennsylvania who build Harley-Davidsons," Obama said of McCain's record. "Because John McCain didn't just oppose the requirement that the government buy American-made motorcycles, he called Buy American provisions 'disgraceful.' Just ask the workers across this country who have seen their jobs outsourced. The very companies that shipped their jobs overseas have been rewarded with billions of dollars in tax breaks that John McCain supports and plans to continue.

"So, when American workers hear John McCain talking about putting 'Country First,'" Obama said, "it's fair to ask –- which country?"

Um ... isn't that pretty much the dictionary definition of questioning someone's patriotism?

Not a smart move by team Obama, he shot himself in the foot and put his foot in his mouth at the same time! That got to hurt!

Boy oh boy--the McCain/Palin die-hards do not give up (though I suspect it is one person posting under many, many identities)--anything that Obama says will be used against him--question anything about McCain/Palin and it is seen as "shooting himself in the foot". And what is wrong with what Obama said? If McCain said that Buy American provisions are disgraceful, then it needs to be discussed. Haven't McCains supporters questioned Obama's patriotism?
Clearly the "McCain/Palin can do and say no wrong" crowd on this forum are a small minority and the people of the US will see through the lies and lack of morals and ethics by the republican candidates and elect the right person (obama) for th ejob.
