280 this afternoon?

Original post made by Beth, South of Midtown, on Aug 26, 2008

Has anybody driven up 280 from PA to Redwood City beginning around 2:45pm? Is the traffic bad on a typical Tuesday? Thanks.

Unless there is a major accident traffic flows very well at that time. Sometimes around 5:30 PM it slows a little, but nothing compared to Bayshore. You'll have smooth sailing.

Once schools start up, vacations are over. This offically ends the summer seasons light commute traffic by everyone being back to work. It will get worse again once all the colleges start up next week as the college students rush to make their morning classes.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

For the last 23 years, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has given away more than $4 million to local nonprofits serving children and families. When you make a donation, every dollar is automatically doubled, and 100% of the funds go directly to local programs. It’s a great way to ensure your charitable donations are working at home.
