I'm more than a little late in getting to this Pulitzer winning book, but come along and make a conversation.-

I hate to be the guy who has seen the movie, but not read the book - however... The HBO version of this book so so incredibly awesome. Paul Giamatti was fantastic. I would love to read the book now.

Wonderful. I'm buying the DVD [$35!]. It was the buzz for the series that got me to the book. - I expect to go on reading good portions of the book and then "catch up" w/the series if the two are closely aligned. There are so many nice surprises in the book that I don't want to take away the pleasure of their discovery by saying what they are. -
