Blood center desperate for type O negative

Critical shortage of the universal type O negative blood has triggered an emergency appeal for donors by the Stanford Blood Center. The center "has no units of O negative on its shelves," spokesperson Michele Hundman said Tuesday.

I know some willing to donate who are unable because of Mad Cow.
