Menlo's Grimes wins CCS golf championship

Patrick Grimes had some pretty simple goals when he teed off on Tuesday in the Central Coast Section golf tournament at Rancho Canada West in Carmel Valley.

After reading "Only the top three teams advanced" - this article failed to mention that St. Francis placed 2nd with a score of 381,
but instead mentioned the last qualifying team was third-place Palma with 386 strokes. This was a huge oversight, failing to mention St. Francis at all, as St. Francis is more of a local neighboring school which would seem to be more important to give recognition because it was a high school in our area.
