Former school architect to leave Palo Alto

A new construction manager for Palo Alto schools will replace a man who earlier designed an elementary school condemned as unsafe and subsequently demolished, Superintendent Kevin Skelly announced Monday.

This doesn't seem quite as bad as the Vanir construction manager for "Building for Excellence" being indicted for child pornography in 2002. Web Link

I don't recall reading about that story in any local papers.

Kudos to Skelly for moving quickly once this information came to light. The district needs to move forward based on trust.

Is this the same architect who designed the Science rooms at JLS that have 4 concrete walls, and NO windows?
