As A full time imployed middle class wage earner with a very ill husband, I have watched my medical cost rise over the past five years
to triple what they were when i first became eligable for them .
before that we had no coverage at all we did not quailify for any service because as a part time employee i made to much money.so we somply did not go to the dr at all .
when i did quailify we signed up and found out all those years with out it my husband was getting sicker and sicker with out knowing it .
the problem i see is that while we had no coverage people that were low income like on welfare were getting the service for free with my tax dollars paying for it the reason these cost keep soaring are because to many people that dont deserve to be getting these free services are .
including illegals and there children that in my mind are just as illegal as there parents yet they come here and demand we support them all ,with free housing ,free food ,free medical ,free schooling .
they are breaking the backs of hard working americans not only do a very high persentage of them live on welfare they also have husbands that they dont tell welfare about that are working under the table not paying taxes at the same time.
and its not just illegals doing this but i see entire generations of people living on our welfare system kids having babies just to get on the welfare system dont believe well its true ,you also have this whole generation in gangs and that type of thing not working not paying into our sytem yet when thye are put in jail we again have to support them ,and yes the majority of them are hispanic like that or not .
so until we fix the welfare system and the medical system we will continue to go down this path of our economy being severly broken .
this and the fact that these huge corporations are lying about the money they are making to increase the size of there bonuses and the absolute waste i see in the work place of people on things like stress leave or oh i,m depressed eveyr one else in the world needs to pay for my lifestyle .
well tell me this if what i say isnt true then how come i see everyday people living on welfare driving brand new cars, living in nice houses shopping at high end stores ,having there hair and nails done wearing name brand clothes ,while i with a full time job shop at walmart and drive a 20 year old car ,i,ll tell you why i live within my means thats why i have no credit cards ,i live on what i earned something i was brought up to understand ,
i,m glad someone gets to achieve the american dream to bad its not americans..
I suspect the vast majority of Americans have no clue how much money they are actually paying in taxes.
After awhile, people just believe they earn what they bring home in their paychecks, and rejoice in their "tax" checks from the govt because they allowed too much to be withheld.
About 50% of all income tax filers pay taxes, the other 50% pay nothing. 20% get money directly from the government ( our taxes) in one way or another..
Wake up people! Discourage welfare! Save the "helping hand" for those who CAN'T work, not to give to women to make babies! Care for the babies by using the money to instead set up adoptions! The rate of poverty from single mothers having babies and perpetuating the vicious cycle will drop dramatically once the false incentive is taken away. We are simply helping people make really bad choices that keep generation after generation in uneducated poverty.
