[Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] Last year, I learned about procedures at a fertility clinic. The egg donors were always made feel that it was a worthy cause and that their eggs were disposed off every month anyways. The bottom line is profits. Fertility clinics make millions of dollars from the infertile couples and donors. I wonder, whatever happened with adoption? Are those couples really thinking that it is totally their baby? What about those children fertilized in a dish when they grow up, is anyone advocating on their behalf?
