Gunn High School Blood Drive!

The Stanford Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive at Gunn High School on November 16 (Friday) between the hours of 8:30 am and 2:30 pm. It will be on campus at the Library. All donors should bring an official ID card with them. Drinks and snacks will be served by volunteers, including myself, and each donor will walk away with a FREE AMC movie ticket.

To Donate you must be:

-Between the ages of 16 and 74 yrs old (16 yr olds need parental consent)

-Be free of serious cold/flu symptoms

-At least 110 pounds

Please help save lives!!!

-Every donation can save multiple lives (white blood cells, platelets, and other components of blood are used)

-Every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs blood

-25% of the Bay Area's blood supply is imported from other regions in the US (tornadoes, hurricanes, or cold weather in the east affects our blood supply)

They don't like our blood. So if you have ever lived in a country where they have had mad cow (BCE) don't bother.
