Fishing is now banned in San Francisco Bay

Fishing for human consumption has been banned in the San Francisco Bay by the governor because of last week's oil spill.<BR>

Six days after the spill, fishing is now banned. The amazing slowness of the cleanup is quite disturbing. Bunker fuel must be more toxic than coal tar because almost no volunteers have been able to help, especially in the early days before the globs of oil broke up.

you should not eat fish any time from the bay because of the very high levels of mercury
