Ultimate recycling: post-fire items given away

Personal-care items, laundry detergent and basic cleaning supplies salvaged from the demolished Walgreens on University Avenue were among the items in 89 boxes of nonperishable goods donated to the East Palo Alto YMCA Tuesday.

Some people are class acts. That Walgreen's store was a class act also, I'll miss it.

Jeri Fink has been my State Farm Agent for 25 years, and I'm at all surprised she was involved in a project like this.
