Romic order a breath of fresh air for EPA residents

Original post made on Jun 2, 2007

Against the backdrop of billowing smokestacks and the smell of chemicals, 30 East Palo Alto residents, City Council members and youth activists stood outside Romic Environmental Technologies on Thursday and cheered. For many, the air had never smelled so sweet.

Give me a break.. Billowing smokestacks?? Never have I seen that. Who the hell writes this stuff?
I more smell the blood of gang members on the streets in EPA.
Pick a real fight people. Do not kill a company that does good for our country. Let's stop the killings that go on every other day.
Romic does a GREAT just to EPA.

Romic does a great service to entire Bay Area. The most dangerous place for hazardous waste is remain at the site it was generated or used at. Romic either properly treats the waste or passes the waste on to another company at a different location who will also properly treat the waste. The air in the Romic plant is cleaner than the air at any intersection in downtown Palo Alto.

I wonder if EPA is going to order the bay shut down, since the mud flay aroma is at least as pungent as any chemical plant smell.
