Will Palo Alto City Council Member Peter Drekmeier have a conflict of interest and be unable to participate in Stanford related issues when he marries a Stanford University employee [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] on June 2, 2007?

I'm glad I got to read this story BEFORE the Weekly's censors removed two-thirds of it.

Councilmembers married to Stanford employees usually don't vote on anything connected to Stanford.
Here is one big developer he won't be able to support. He votes for all the other big developments.
So congratulations to Peter, and congratulations to us that you won't be able to vote for this one.
