Mah's Appointment to the Board

Her experience as an educator? There isn't any. Her support in the community? Limited.
So it's not clear. However, one thing struck me in the article--Mah was said to have reached out to the superintendents.
So, we have Mary Callahan leaving PAUSD under a cloud, but a big MI supporter. She's avoiding a thorough investigation and she probably needs a new job.
I suspect, though, she still has clout with other supervisors. It would be convenient for her to have someone on the county board who's in her debt.
It's unlikely Grace Mah will push for an investigation of behind-doors maneuvering in the PAUSD. I suspect the county board likes it that way. Investigations are unpleasant things for bureaucracies.
Okay, so what's deal here? Because it sure seems like one.
