Disaster Planning for Earthquake and Pandemic is Essential

The pandemic flu epidemic could also spread rapidly and will equally be deadly in its impact. Predictions are that 2-3% of the population will die and 40% will protract the flu in waves over 1-2 year cycles. The question posed by the experts is not if, but when this will happen. Again, by being prepared, you will have a better chance of surviving and helping your family to survive. Act now. Don't wait. Our local Palo Alto Area Red Cross, inter alia, has great materials on its website for making plans for earthquake and pandemic readiness.
