After scoring just 31 points in its first three games, the Gunn football team probably figured it was time to get its offense going. The Titans picked a good time to do just that, opening its SCVAL El Camino Division with a 47-6 blowout victory over visiting Harker on Friday night.

Senior wide receiver Tommy Ford hauled in the game-winning touchdown catch midway through the fourth quarter and the Menlo School defense forced an incompletion on its own 10-yard line as time expired to secure a 16-12 nonleague football victory over the Mission (San Francisco) Bears in Atherton on Friday afternoon.
