The Menlo-Atherton boys’ water polo team cruised into the finals of the PAL Championship Tournament with a convincing 15-4 victory over Woodside on Friday night. The Bears jumped out to a 9-1 first half lead and played lots of reserves in the second half. Seniors Eric Wright and Jed Springer led the way with 3 goals apiece and 8 different Bears scored in a game played under the lights at the Menlo-Atherton Spieker Pool. M-A will take on cross-town rival Menlo School in the championship game at 3:00 PM Saturday.
