Gunn produced what might be one of its most impressive home openers in school history in its 41-6 domination of Lincoln (San Francisco) on Friday night to open the 2009 high school football season.
The Titans, under new head coach Bob Sykes, scored the first five times they touched the ball. Not since a 49-14 home-opening win over Saratoga in 2002 have the Titans looked so solid.
Starting quarterback Anthony Cannon had impressive debut by throwing for three touchdowns while Maceo Parks ran for two more as Gunn started the season in emphatic fashion.
