The Menlo girls’ basketball team wrapped up a four-game trip to Hawaii with a 55-37 triumph over host Kealakele on Saturday morning on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Knights (9-5), who won three of four games during their holiday trip. Used a fullcourt press in the first half to forge a 29-14 halftime lead. Senior Jackie Shepard once again led Menlo with 26 points and eight rebounds. Whitney Hooper added 17 points and seven rebounds for the Knights, who’ll take on El Camino on Tuesday in another nonleague test while preparing for the West Bay Athletic League (Skyline Division) season.
