One year after failing to win a single match in the SCVAL De Anza Division, the Palo Alto boys' soccer team finds itself undefeated in the SCVAL El Camino Division following a 3-1 victory over host Monta Vista on Monday. The Vikings (2-0, 6-2-1) put up the winning goal in the first half when Chris Meredith took a bouncing pass from Cina Vazir and headed it in at the 16-minute mark. That came eight minutes after fellow senior Paul Stefanski had given Paly a 1-0 lead with an open, unassisted goal. Senior Kirby Gee provided an insurance goal in the second half on a penalty kick.
