The Gunn girls' basketball team opened its SCVAL De Anza Division season by holding host Los Gatos to just 11 percent from the field on the way to a 44-14 victory on Saturday night. Junior guard Zoe Zwerling led the Titans (1-0, 8-3) with 16 points, three rebounds and three steals while shooting 62 percent from the field. Meghan Mahoney grabbed eight rebounds with four steals and two blocks and Sarah Longyear added seven rebounds for Gunn in its best defensive performance of the season.
