Mathias Schmutz tallied 19 points and Aldis Petriceks added 17 as the Palo Alto boys' basketball team captured the championship game of the Windsor Holiday Shootout with a 62-60 win over McKinleyville on Saturday night. Aubrey Dawkins added 12 points as the Vikings wrapped up 2012 with a 9-1 mark. Petriceks was named the tournament's MVP while Dawkins joined him on the all-tourney team.
