The Menlo School girls' basketball team welcomed back senior center Drew Edelman and used a 27-point third quarter to register a 64-51 nonleague victory over visiting Menlo-Atherton on Friday night. Edelman, who had missed the previous four games with an injury, injected some much-needed offense into the Knights' attack with a 28-point outburst plus 10 rebounds. . Menlo (2-3) also got 10 points and nine rebounds from freshman MacKenzie Duffner. Emma Heath led the Bears (3-4) with 22 points.
