The Palo Alto girls' soccer team opened its season under new head coach Kurt Devlin with a 1-0 loss to host Saratoga on Monday. The Vikings next will host Sacred Heart Prep on Friday (6 p.m.) in the opening round of the Palo Alto Winter Classic.
