Palo Alto bounced back from its first SCVAL De Anza Division loss after 21 straight wins with a very big 27-25, 25-12, 25-22 triumph over Homestead in girls' volleyball action Thursday. The win moved Paly (7-1, 18-4) out of a tie for second place with the Mustangs and kept the Vikings a game behind first-place Los Gatos. Senior co-captain Sophia Bono dished out 27 assists with Shelby Knowles putting away 13 kills and Becca Raffel registering nine kills. Knowles and Raffel also combined for 21 digs while Keri Gee provided 17 digs to lead the Vikings.
