Palo Alto bounced back from its first SCVAL De Anza Division loss after 21 straight wins with a very big 27-25, 25-12, 25-22 triumph over Homestead in girls' volleyball action Thursday. The win moved Paly (7-1, 18-4) out of a tie for second place with the Mustangs and kept the Vikings a game behind first-place Los Gatos. Senior co-captain Sophia Bono dished out 27 assists with Shelby Knowles putting away 13 kills and Becca Raffel registering nine kills.
