Shelby Knowles produced 16 kills and six digs to help the Palo Alto girls' volleyball team post a 25-16, 25-15, 25-21 victory over visiting Los Altos in a SCVAL De Anza Division match on Thursday. The Vikings (6-0, 17-3) remained atop the standings, holding a one-game lead over both Los Gatos (5-1) and Homestead (5-1), heading into Tuesday's showdown at Los Gatos. Palo Alto, which won its 21st straight division match dating to 2010, had only 12 hitting errors in 108 attempts. Bella Graves hit .714 with five kills while Becca Raffel added 11 kills with three aces and 10 digs.
