Gunn had a chance to win an outright title in the SCVAL El Camino Division on Thursday, but dropped the ball in a 5-4 loss to host Fremont. Perhaps it wasn't all that bad. The Titans (10-3, 18-7), holding a two-game lead over the Firebirds (8-5, 10-14) with two games remaining, can win the championship at home on Tuesday by beating Monta Vista. Game time is 3:30 p.m. The teams already have played twice this season, with Gunn winning both. The Matadors (6-7, 10-14-1) have to play all their games on the road this season while their field undergoes renovation.
