The Gunn girls' basketball team saw its successful run end in a 44-40 loss to No. 3 seed Kennedy of Sacramento in a CIF Division I semifinal on Tuesday night. The No. 7-seeded Titans (21-7) reached the NorCal semifinals for only the second time in school history and finished with the third-most wins in program history. Gunn held a 22-19 lead with the third quarter getting under way but trailed by 31-28 at the end of the third quarter.
