The Palo Alto girls' soccer team lost an opportunity to perhaps remain in the SCVAL De Anza Division next season after dropping a 1-0 decision to fifth-place Los Altos in a SCVAL De Anza Division match on Friday. The host Vikings fell to 2-7-2 in league (5-8-5 overall) and have eight points while sitting in sixth-place, one point behind Los Altos (2-7-3, 6-8-4).
