Only two days after falling out of a first-place tie in a 10-point loss to Gunn, the Palo Alto girls' basketball team moved back into a tie for the top spot in the SCVAL De Anza Division with a thrilling 47-46 victory over visiting Wilcox on Friday night. The Vikings trailed by as many as 16 points before rallying for the win with an 18-1 run. They trailed by only two with 30 seconds to play, finally overhauling the Chargers (6-2, 16-2) as senior Emilee Osagiede scored the fnal seven points of the game, including the winning free throw. Palo Alto improved to 7-2 (14-4).
