Lindsay Black tossed in18 points and sophomore Danielle Palmer added 14 as the Palo Alto girls' basketball team remained a game back of first-place Wilcox with a 56-47 victory over visiting Los Gatos on Friday night. The Vikings (4-1, 11-3) actually trailed at halftime, 30-29, before pulling away in the third quarter.
