Strengthened by a big transfer from Presentation, the Wilcox girls' basketball team has made the 2012 SCVAL De Anza Division race a three-team affair following a 58-50 victory over host Gunn on Friday night. Palo Alto and Gunn dominated league play last season and ended up playing for the CCS Division I title. The Warriors (2-0, 12-0) may be the team to beat now until someone beats them. Zoe Zwerling scored a season-high 20 points for the Titans (1-1, 6-4), but scoring leader Cat Perez was held to five points, her season low.
