Palo Alto keeper Tony Maharaj made some nice saves to help the Vikings maintain a 0-0 deadlock with visiting Carlmont in a nonleague boys' soccer match on Thursday. Blanking the Scots was a significant accomplishment for the Vikings, who gave up two goals to Menlo-Atherton and six to Los Gatos in their past two matches.
