With Cat Perez tossing in 17 points and grabbing eight rebounds, the Gunn girls' basketball team bounced back from a pair of losses at the Pinewood Classic to beat host Pioneer, 43-31, in nonleague action Tuesday night. The Titans (4-3) trailed at halftime by 20-16, but held Pioneer to just 11 points after intermission. Freshman Meghan Mahoney pulled down eight rebounds as the Titans once again did a good job on the boards.
