The Gunn girls' soccer team opened its season with a 3-1 nonleague triumph over visiting St. Ignatius on Tuesday night. Sophomore Sarah Robinson, who will run in the Footlocker West Regional cross-country meet on Saturday in Southern California, got in a little extra work and helped the Titans by scoring a pair of goals. After Alyssa Perreault had given Gunn a 1-0 lead in the first half, Robinson converted a penalty kick for a 2-0 halftime lead. After intermission, Robinson tallied on a side-netting shot.
