Palo Alto will play for its second straight Central Coast Section Open Division football title after outscoring St. Francis, 39-23, in a semifinal on Saturday night at San Jose City College. The No. 4-seeded Vikings (10-2) will face No. 2 Bellarmine (11-1) next Friday at San Jose CC at 8 p.m. Paly beat the Bells last season in the semifinals on the way to winning the CIF Division I state title. The Vikings win over the No. 8 Lancers (6-6) was their first ever in postseason play since the matchup was the first time the teams have met in the CCS playoffs.
