Gwen Hubbard saw her debut as Castilleja's interim head coach spoiled in a 25-16, 19-25, 26-24, 14-25, 15-10 loss to visiting Notre Dame-San Jose in West Bay Athletic League (Foothill Division) girls' volleyball action. The Gators fell to 4-4 in the division (17-12 overall) despite 20 kills, four blocks and two aces from senior Hannah Boland. Junior Lucy Tashman added 12 kills, senior Lindsey Wang had 11 kills and 25 digs while junior Hannah Hsieh contributed 45 assists.
